What is sexy in a man?

What makes a man sexy? Sometimes its when a strong man shows his vulnerability. For example I love the show Dog the Bounty Hunter because despite the fact that Dog is a big, sexy man, he also cares about people especially his family. A man who loves his family and tries to protect and care for them is SO hot.

In the episode I'm thinking of, Dog talks about the sad death of a premature child. Having had a niece in and out of the hospital when she was a baby I can relate and know how heart wrenching it can be. Revealing that difficult story showed how deeply he cared for that child...I really felt for him.

If only more men would take a page from the real men of the world and give more of a crap about their kids. I think this world would be a much better place

Just finished some edits on a great sci fi adventure

Well the Hunters book, which I had been dragging my feet on editing is finally finished its first clean up draft. After LB looks it over, I plan to take another crack at Samhain Publishing. They liked the story but had some suggestions before they would take it. The bigger publishers are very exacting and I don't blame them...its just that I HATE editing...it drives me nuts.

Great Thankgiving!

Cooked a turkey for friends and family and it turned out great! I am a legend LOL Also picked up a little cold and now the whole house is sick. I hate that especially since when I get a cold it tends to linger. Been writing a lot. I have a new Siren Warrior in the works as well as a new vampire story.

female teachers who have their way with male students

I was watching a show today about this stuff and of course they brought up MK Letourneau. This woman so enrages me I can hardly have a normal conversation about her. I feel so sorry for that poor boy (man now but still). Now here is an adult woman (I use that term loosely) who used a young boy's sexual drive against him and not only trapped him by getting pregnant ONCE but TWICE!

I predict as he gets older he's going to begin to realize that this woman manipulated and used him to satisfy herself emotionally. Oh sure she says she loves him but she has never once made any sacrifices for his benefit. Everything has been to serve her own selfish motives. According to PEOPLE magazine they are living off the money they got for coverage of their wedding...but someday that money is going to run out. And when it does they are going to have real problems because, unless he goes back to school to study a trade or something, his earning potential is seriously limited. And her? She's not getting any younger, and she can't be a teacher anymore...so what does that leave? I'm afraid to ask.

You think when this young man turns 40 he's going to want to be saddled with a 61 year old? I seriously doubt it.

Credit Card BS

The credit cards that I've held for years have turned against me even though I haven't done anything wrong. To get back at them for trying to jack up my interest rate to the sky I have canceled all of them and I am not alone. I know a lot of people doing the same thing. I should have done this years ago.
They'll get theirs when people start saving again instead of living off credit and then where will they be? Unemployed and I can't wait.

Writing Funk

Sometimes, like most writers, I get into a funk and don't want to write anything. Sometimes it's due to a bad review or personal stuff going on in my life. But I think it's finally lifted. I started a pretty cool vampire story this morning that I think is going to have a lot of S&M in it...hee hee I also have three great stories that have been swallowing up my time as I do revision (which I hate with a passion). If Samhain likes the changes I made on one, I just might get accepted by them! Horray for me!!!

Jon Gosslin is such a tool

Sooo Jon Gosslin doesn't want to be on the TLC TV show anymore.  Claiming its what's best for his kids he wants to kill the cash cow that's been paying his bills lately.  He's thinking he's got TLC over a barrel.  Well I'm going to tell you what's going to happen with that...get ready Jon because TLC is going to decide to cancel the show all together and then?  I'll bet anyone that TLC is going to cut their losses and determine this show is too much of a pain in the butt to keep messing with.  They are so done.  Just like that.

Kate's gonna come after you for child support for all those beautiful kiddies.

Hope you saved some of that money my boy because you're gonna be having to take back that shiny new BMW. Better start checking those want ads.  LOLOL
